Definition of a "call" for licensing on the ALG Proxy Server
| Problem Description: The ALG Proxy Server is licensed based on the number of concurrent calls that traverse it. How are these calls actually counted? |
Resolution: Additionally, the licensing mechanism is based on video calls, which involve the handling of two simultaneous media streams through the ALG Proxy (audio + video). The ALG Proxy's licensing mechanism actually counts the media streams. Therefore, if 5 calls are licensed, the ALG Proxy would allow 5 video calls, 10 voice calls or a combination of voice and video calls such that the total number of media streams does not exceed 10 (for example: 3 video calls + 4 voice calls). |
