| Cisco
3510 MCU initially registers to MXM as a gateway device |
| |
| Emblaze-VCON Product: |
MXM ver:all |
| Non-Emblaze-VCON Product: |
Cisco 3510 |
|
| |
Problem Description:
When first registering a Cisco 3510 MCU to the MXM, it registers as a
Gateway device instead of a MCU. |
| |
|
Resolution:
This is due to a configuration setting on the 3510 itself. Using
the configuration tools (OnLAN Tools or Cisco Tools) enter the Unit
Setup section on the Miscellanous screen, press the Advanced button.
There you will find a command line to enter the following string:
rgstrmode:GW
Once this is entered, restart the 3510 and it will register correctly
with the MXM as a MCU device.
