Emblaze VCON together with, Xenex and AVC, Finland’s leading telecommunications companies, to supply a co-developed video telephony IP platform to Internet service providers
Ra’anana, Israel, October 19, 2005 : Emblaze Ltd (“Emblaze” or “the Group”) announces that its subsidiary Emblaze VCON had signed a strategic partnership with Xenex Telecom Ltd (Xenex), a leading Finnish videoconferencing provider for the enterprise market and its subsidiary, Applied Visual Computing Ltd (AVC), a provider of standard compliant rich media communications software for IP-networks, to supply a co-developed video telephony IP platform to internet service providers (ISPs) in Finland this year and across Europe next year.
According to the agreement, the new co-developed platform will offer IP video telephony services to B2B, SOHO (small office home office) and B2C markets. The combination of Emblaze VCON and AVC technology together with Xenex’s new emeeting.fi service platform will allow the ISP subscriber to make IP-video calls from their desktop to any other desktop.
