Gil Ozeri

Engineering Director

I have joined VCON on early 1988 as a Product Manager in the Engineering Dept. and assumed the management of VCON’s Engineering in late 2001.

Throughout those years, I was involved and a key point in the Design and Development of VCON's Products such as XPoint, HD600, HD1000, HD2000, HD3000, HD4000Pro, HD5000, FalconIP, QuickConnect, VTOP, Media Connect, Monitor, Cruiser… and many more.

Today, I am the most senior employee in Emblaze-VCON. I believe that Emblaze-VCON is 'the' industry's locomotives and focus mostly on vision, innovation and technology.

Emblaze-VCON for me is the "Promised Land".
My mission is to lead the Engineering Department into excellence and perform the highest yield for EVC.

Sharon Viente

Product Manager

Sharon Viente, product manager for Emblaze-VCON HDDK Emblaze VCON HDDK and desktop products. Mr Viente is a veteran in the audio and video development arena with more that 8 year of experience.

Alexander Heigl

Sales Engineer for Central Europe

Born in Munich, Germany, Alex's first job was at a customer care department for a local start-up company. Later on he became a Network and System administrator and in 2002 he joined Emblaze-VCON's operation in Germany. Since 2006 Alex is Emblaze-VCON Sales Engineer for Central Europe.

Ran Sharon

General Manager Inc.

Ran Sharon assumed the management of VCON’s US operations in early 2005, and is currently the General Manger of Emblaze-VCON Inc..

Ran joined VCON in 2003 when VCON acquired RemoteAbility – a company he co-founded and in which he was VP R&D. RemoteAbility held patents and focused in the area of audio conferencing, and was the first to develop robust software-only audio conferencing platforms.

Ran came to VCON with a proven track record of technology execution and delivery, and over twenty years in the telecom and datacom domains.

A graduate of MAMRAM (the Israeli Defense Forces elite computer programming training center), Ran began his career as a programmer for the IDF communications division. He achieved the degree of "expert" in communications for his work in developing sophisticated algorithms for communications and security systems.

Simon Shaw

Director of MXM development team

Simon holds a B.Eng(Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Manchester University in the UK.

He joined Phonet in 1995 as a software engineer developing an IP PBX (which is now the MXM).

Since then he has held a variety of management and development roles in the servers department of VCON and Emblaze-VCON.

Simon enjoys reading, watching rugby union (even though he hung his boots up several years ago) and spending time with his family.
